Unfortunately, over time, the hall became very shabby. It was decided in the 1990's that something had to be done, and a new committee of entusiastic locals was formed. |

| The hall is now used by a wide variety of organisations, including A Before & After School Club, Blood Donors, Sawley Family Association, The Citizens Advice Bureau and a Karate Group. It is well known for being the home of the Sawley Players, and is also available for hire for private parties and functions. |
